Light recoil, adequate power for a defensive handgun if you\u2019re not after dangerous game, and lots of bullets on board. Relatively cheap ammo, too.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Still, whether the topic is long guns or handguns, the higher-powered ones do have a place. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/big-boomer-guns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here\u2019s an article I wrote<\/a> on that topic for Backwoods Home magazine back in 2010.
