Well, waddaya know – I turn 71 today.

There are days I feel every bit of that, but there are also days when I get up feeling 17.

Which makes me wonder…am I elderly and dyslexic, too?

Aah, what the hell. I’m enjoying my geezerhood, and I hope my graying brothers and sisters out there are, too.

    Happy Birthday

I have been reading your work since I was 15 and as an adult I still read you. Not as much as I would like to be cause I don’t get magazines like when I was a teen or in my 20’s. I did want to say that you did a tp9 video on YouTube for green force tactical and you said things like you write. That was awesome. I am 42 now.

Sir you have informed and entertained many people

    Happy Birthday good sir

  4. I am 74 and have learned two things: 1.) The older I get … the more things I wish I hadn’t done and 2.) the more things I wish had done.

  5. Happy Birthday, Mas I turned 70 this past April. With my aching bones, I rarely feel 17. Have a great day.

  6. Inside of every old person is a young person wondering “What the Hell happened?” Happy Birthday, Mas.

  7. Happy Birthday Mas! I turned 71 on Tuesday, and that day broke my left fibula. Bar fight, right? No one believes that story. Truth is I was watering the lawn… Cheers

  8. Mas, love your retort “meh!!” So what its just another number. You are just entering the theoretical realm of 71 trips round the sun, in one more month I will be leaving that “world”, and I’ll bet neither of us have changed much since the last time this happened. A few more things to remember, a few more to forget…. but life continues. What matters is how we USE each day we are given,

I for one appreciate your hard charging stay the course and share what you learn attitude.

  9. Happy Birthday Mas. Enjoy your writing, knowledge, and shooting expertise. May you be blessed with many more years on this planet.

  10. Mass, you’re still just a sweet young thing. Wait until you get a few more years on, then you can forget about soooo many things. Have fun on your birthday.

  11. Happy birthday ? Mas, you’re blessed. I too have days feeling 67, and wake some days dreaming of feeling like I’m 17.

  14. Happy 71st Birthday. I’m also 71, but about 7 months ahead of you. Today is our 40th anniversary, however… Amazing how the time flies, isn’t it!

  15. Happy Birthday, Mas!! My lovely bride says as long as you flip the numbers around (71 to 17) and be younger, you’re in good shape! I’m 67 and will have to wait a few more for the flip to work. Thanks for all you have written! I have quite a collection and try to share that acquired knowledge when ever I get an opportunity. Your efforts are appreciated by all of us! Thank you!!

  16. Another year of Geezerhood sure beats fertilizing the lawn from the root side! Happy, happy and joyous day to you and the beloved EP.

  18. Happy Birthday, Sir

I know now, that I’m a year older than you. However, your experience and studies are vast, and I’ve enjoyed and learned from your writings since your first. Being on the other coast, I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting you or taking your classes, but I am still looking forward to it someday.

    Sincerely,

    Col. Sam’l Colt (pen name)

  19. Happy Birthday Mas.
I just turned 39 this month- for the 38th time!
Time flies and I’m not having all that much fun.
Too soon old. Still not smart.
