I first met Bill Wilson at my favorite shooting match, the old Second Chance Shoot now known as The Pin Shoot, in 1977. (www.pinshoot.com) The man has impressed me ever since.

He won that event more than once, along with many others, and established himself as a world class shooter. Bill founded the International Defensive Pistol Association, creating the “concealed carry sport.” He has hunted all over the world, shoots hogs almost every day of his life on his own game ranch, and went from world-class gunsmith to celebrated manufacturer of state-of-the-art firearms and ammunition with his Wilson Combat empire.  When this man talks about guns and hunting and shooting under pressure you really, really should listen. I damn sure do.

And if you’d rather read than listen, well, you’re the ideal reader for his new book “Guns, Shooting and Hunting.”  It’s subtitled “What I’ve Learned in 60 Years.”

I’ve owned and shot many Wilson guns and recommend them as worth every penny. But perhaps even more value is found in the knowledge born of experience that Bill has put into his new book.I probably don’t need to add “Strongly Recommended,” but it is. You can get it here.
