Major cities are bracing for trouble this weekend, with military on the ground there. Plan your weekend accordingly and carefully.
As the “No Kings” demonstrations unfold, there is unpleasantness in the air, to put it mildly. Unfortunately, I have family members with obligations that put them variously in Chicago, Washington DC, and Los Angeles this weekend. They’ll all be on Condition Yellow. Make that Bright Yellow.
Stay safe. Let’s hope the demonstrations are truly peaceful, not “mostly peaceful” in the sense of the misnamed “Summer of Love” of 2020.
Unfortunately, Soros, Iran and other dark money groups have paid the rioters and organized these “events” to be anything but peaceful. Until such time that the rioters are arrested and sentenced to lengthy prison sentences this behavior will continue. The Justice Department needs to look into bringing RICO charges against the people behind all this mayhem. We need to strongly urge our friends and family members, especially young blissfully unaware ones, to pay attention and avoid the area of these demonstrations even if it inconveniences them. I advised friends that we’re heading home from my house today to avoid the urban area along their route and they had no idea what Tampon Tim and his friends had planned for the weekend. Stay safe.
I agree 100%. It is not coincidental that this “event” has been arranged so as to fall on Father’s Day Weekend. The Left worships the “Almighty State”. The Left reads the First and Second Commandments as:
1. I am the All-Powerful State, thy God.
2. Thou shalt have no other commitments except to the State.
Other commitments, such as religious beliefs, patriotism, and love of family must be suppressed, in the Leftist World, lest they take precedence over Worship and Obedience to the All-Powerful State.
Thus, the attacks of the Left (undermining Christianity and prayer in schools, open borders in order to destroy any sense of patriotism and National Pride, and destroying the family unit) are all understood as supporting the Worship of their God (The State) and the suppression of heresy and apostasy by non-believers.
What clearer statement could the Left make then to schedule open border protests on Father’s Day Weekend? They “kill two birds with one stone” with such an action.
Make no mistake, Leftism is a religious belief. It is a religion based upon the worship of God-State instead of a tradition Eternal God but it is a religion nevertheless. The adherents of Leftism are religious fanatics who ruthlessly seek to suppress the heresy and apostasy of non-believers by any and all means necessary.
We are in a religious war, my friends, and the Army of Satan is on the march this weekend!
I’ve even heard that some taxpayer money is being used to fund these riots. Really clever when the enemy can use taxpayers’ money against them. Despicable.
100%!!!
Same as the “ICE protests,” aka RIOTS bought and paid for, too. All well organized as they passed out flags, signs & equipment.
So sick of rioters, attempted murder with all the attacks on law enforcement with cinder blocks, etc. never prosecuted if they’re even arrested. While 99% who are arrested get released within hours.
Infuriating!
Bill Gates and the DNC are also behind this. Just as they were behind the “plandemic”.
We live in TinyTown™ in NW Wyoming, and the last time some of this kind of nonsense started back with the St. George of Fentanyl garbage, somebody tried bussing two loads of paid protestors. They were met in the city park by an overwhelming number (4 or 5 hundred) of ordinary citizens, many openly carrying long arms. The local cops had made an arrangement with the local riding club who provided a dozen or so (armed) men on very large range horses to provide extra security. They had no permit for the park, so when they tried to speak they were essentially shouted down.
They never did anything but slink back into their buses and make their way back out of town, escorted by a couple of dozen pick-up trucks, the beds of which were loaded with (armed) men, making darned sure they didn’t turn around and come back. After a few friendly waves of “goodbye” they were headed back down the road to Casper, tails tucked firmly between their legs.
No. our major problem here is that it’s tourist season, and many of the dazzling urbanites who travel think that their casual shoplifting will get the same response here that it does in their urban enclaves. We’ve already had one small-shop owner have to draw down on an idiot who thought that displaying a knife would let him walk out the door with the goods…the owner had him proned out and waiting for the cops to arrive. He’s currently enjoying the county’s hospitality while awaiting charges of assault with a deadly weapon and theft. Funny nobody would bail him out around here…
Sounds like a great place to live!
There is never a good time to be in those cities and you should always be in Condition Yellow. Riots are most unlikely to occur where I am but I will be in Condition Yellow anyway.
Back in the late ’80s I spent 6 months in SoCal. I can understand some of the angst out there. No one will admit it, but California can’t function without illegals. The numbers are another story. As are the violence and the failure of elected officials to enforce existing law.
MLK led demonstrations. Once the first person tussles with another citizen or LLEA, that’s possibly assault. When bottles, concrete chunks, fireworks/IEDs and fire bombs start to fly, that’s aggravated assault. That’s no longer a demonstration. Per the dictionary, a riot is “a violent disturbance of the public peace.”
While working, I belonged to a website that had a retired high ranking member of Hong Kong’s UK Police force as a member. He passed on some of their riot control techniques and I noticed LAPD used some. One was leaving the rioters escape routes. What use of force I saw was appropriate to the situation.
Historical Trivia: the Riot Act was/is an actual law going back centuries. Once the crowd was officially declared a riot (by reading the Riot Act to them), lethal force was authorized to end it. In modern times, by engaging the riot leaders if necessary.
This won’t end until the FBI and DOJ go after the funding sources, after naming them as terrorist criminal conspiracies, which they clearly are. They should start seizing assets, freezing accounts, and using the gawd awful, unconstitutional FISA courts from the Patriot Act against these people.
That would accomplish at least two things:
First, it would shut down the money pipeline to these Communist agitators; if they ain’t getting paid and their way there, their food and accommodations aren’t gratis, there is no mob.
Second, it would expose to Americans who is really behind all this; Soros, the CCP and radial Islam. Our people need to wake up to the actual fight were in, many are still asleep.
Third, when the leftists in Congress and the Courts see the anti-American Patriot Act rules used against THEM for a change, see how fast they pivot 180 degrees and start screaming those laws need to be repealed. Do what Biden’s DOJ did, stick them in jail for years without legal representation or family contact (because ‘terrorism’), let the leaders of their movement sit in stir in the dark, isolated until 2028.
Not only will the mobs suddenly start shrinking, but we’ll finally put a bullet in the head of the Patriot Act.
Truly, a hug WIN-WIN….
Wasn’t reopening Alcatraz under consideration?
Paid? Nah… Post on Craigslist for the Seattle (not)riot offers $500 for showing up in “provocative style wear” from 12P to 4P, plus $500 bonus for “video evidence of first amendment suppression from government officials”…
A friend from 50 years ago (with whom I’ve had little interaction) recently posted online his intention to attend a protest this weekend. I cautioned him that all members of a rowdy crowd may bear legal and moral responsibility for the acts of the worst actors in the crowd. Also, angry crowds are predisposed to go too far, given the human psychological tendency to experience disinhibition of their baser instincts when in a large crowd. My advice was “don’t go”, write a letter to your elected officials instead. If you do go, leave immediately if anyone throws a rock, a water bottle or lights anything on fire. Personally, I’d take a route home to widely avoid any protests–I want to avoid the need to shoot or run over some malevolent crowd that decides to attack my car with my family inside. Angry crowds (the essential nature of protests and demonstrations) are just bad news waiting to happen.
Greg Ellifritz included this in his “Weekend Knowledge Dump” … it’s the playbook of the rioters BY the organizing group (apparently). It’s a rather dark and long read that leaves the impression that the only end to this mess will be very uugily.

“The Siege of the 3rd Precinct in Minneapolis”
https: //crimethinc.com/2020/06/10/the-siege-of-the-third-precinct-in-minneapolis-an-account-and-analysis
This is a play-by play analysis of the tactics rioters used to take over the police substation in Minneapolis in 2020. It’s an important read for my cop friends as it presents a detailed look at how the rioters handled police interventions and seized territory. It may also serve as a “playbook” for future actions.
Godspeed to your family members, Mas.
Dominus Vobiscum.
Here in south east Arizona, at a temperature of 106°, not going anywhere. Plus the probability of trouble breaking out in the first Second Amendment Sanctuary City is pretty slim.
Meh. Folks get what they vote for … https://www.frontpagemag.com/l-a-mayor-karen-bass-and-cuban-intelligence/
With the prospect of having to …nudge … through a riot, probably good to know what speed trips your airbags too. My wife’s car will cut the engine AND unlock the doors when the airbags fire.
Best way to stop paid protests is to send the financial backers the bill for police overtime pay, vandalism, damage, cleanup, etc. If the financial backers can’t get insurance or have to self-insure, watch it go away.
