Insulating and working on the addition

  1. Heidi Uithof Says:

Your addition looks fabulous. You’ve always been such a hard worker. You can be proud of what you have done. I’ve been following your blog for a while now and am so glad to see you and David are doing well.

  2. Emily Says:

Jackie, I noticed one window in your laundry seems to be boarded up, but not drywalled or anything. what are your plans for that?

I love how your house is just zipping along!!

  3. jackie clay Says:

    Emily,

We took the window out of the old livingroom when we removed the log wall and put that in the end of the laundry room. That way, all the windows on the north side of the house match and we didn’t “waste” a very good (and expensive!) window. This was a planned move from the start, as was moving the other window in the livingroom into the west wall of the kitchen when we finsihed the greenhouse on that side. It seems that we are and have always been “in process” one way or another….and now it’s all coming together.

    Jackie

  4. EarthMama Says:

You’re priceless, Jackie… just like these educational videos. I appreciate them… and YOU… so very much!! Many blessings be upon you and those you love, in your beautiful home.

  5. Mary t Says:

We’ve swapped out some windows at our place too. :) I am so glad you have been bringing up some of the government’s weird encroachments on our rights lately. Can you imagine!
I can just see some crazy official coming over to tell me not to plant what I like, how I like. I hope folks won’t give in to this stuff.
