A while back, I warned in this space that ammunition was going to go up in price across the board this year.  Unfortunately, that prediction has come to pass.

Ammo is a good $40 or more a case costlier than it was this time last year. 9mm ammo is in particularly short supply in gun shops of late. That is especially true for the good carry loads.

For years now I’ve been buying by the thousand round case instead of the fifty-round box. You should consider the same. “Buy once, cry once” and you won’t have to cry about not having enough ammo.

Why the 9mm crunch? It has become overwhelmingly the most popular centerfire handgun caliber, and pistol caliber carbines – chambered mostly for 9mm Luger – have become increasingly popular.

  1. One resource to find your next case of ammo….

AmmoSeek.com for the Ammo you are seeking!
    😀

Tell your friends too! Time to prep for the next evolution.

  2. I rather prefer the +P version of the Gold Dot in 9mm & .38 Spl. The .38 gets good expansion and penetration even out of a 2 inch barrel. Ball or ball equivalent handloads are fine for practice.
