For anyone interested, the Evil Princess has created a new YouTube channel, melding some of our old ProArms Podcast interviews with gunfight survivors and some shooting videos we had posted previously, with new content. The title of the channel is Massad Ayoob Facts and Firearms. We invite you to check it out.
We hope you enjoy it. We still have several videos up on the Wilson Combat channel at YouTube, both my section Critical Mas and a few in the Gun Guys section. The Wilson Combat channel is a treasure trove of wisdom from masters of the gun and shooting arts like Bill Wilson, Ken Hackathorn and many more, as well as an industry insider look at the design and manufacture of some of the finest firearms available today.
Comments invited. We hope you’ll subscribe! Content will include analysis of various firearms and shooting techniques, how and when to use them, and how to handle the aftermath of having done so in lawful defense of self and others.
Already following. One of the notification bells I’ve hit. 👍
I enjoyed the Pro-Arms Podcast and look forward to “Massad Ayoob Facts and Firearms”.
Thanks!
Saw your new video on no carry signs today. Glad to have you back. Miss you on the Wilson Combat Channel.
Sounds great!
Subscribed this morning. I suggest, Mas, that unarmed life threatening encounters also be featured. One possibility might be the female university officer in Raleigh, NC who was suddenly attacked by a large Boxer and Collie whom she thought she knew well and was taking care of for friends over several weeks before it happened. Because she was on the way to a dinner outing with friends, she opted to go unarmed and she almost paid with her life. The account is featured in the Caliber Press manual “Blood Lessons” by Charles Remsberg, and it brings up important lessons and considerations.
I’d like to see your take on the whole P320 drama. Between all the online opinions, lawyers and Sig’s awful PR department I have no idea what to believe. I am thinking about picking up a used M17 for cheap to add to my US military firearm collection.
Jury is still out as to w hat is causing the issue.
I opted for the Ruger RXM over the P320 and Walther PDP and plan on adding the 17 round frame in black soon plus a rear night sight. The RXM trigger is better out of the box than any Glock I have ever owned.
Mark, if you really want it for your collection go ahead and jump on it, we still collect nambu pistols and all sorts of other stuff anyway.
Just don’t stop your written commentary. Video is fine for skills or for stuff where you need live action to illustrate the point. People talking-text is way more efficient.
This is like winning the lottery. Happily subscribed, liked, and sharing with everyone. Thank you for all your expertise and insight over the years. Indispensable. With all the talk about how the 9mm is now equal, or superior to, the .40 and .45 in LE gunfights, I would love to see your take on that topic using the data you’ve acquired over the years from actual gunfights.
You may have noticed by now that your promo above has a TYPO..
“Facts and Firear(M)s”
…
Did you REALLY just fix that as I was about to hit Send?? … just too funny.
nope … correction. The top photo still has error, but apparently the website is corrected.
I look forward to exploring this new source of your wise information.
Thanks!
