Yesterday, Saturday morning, I went by the post office before they closed to pick up my mail. There was a nice lady there in a pink “Women For Trump” tee-shirt.  She was getting compliments from the other weekend postal service customers.  She got a thumbs-up from me.

On the way home, there was a gentleman on a street corner waving a handful of Trump bumper stickers, and holding an array of Trump lawn signs along his other arm. Folks were stopping to take some of them off his hands.  I gave him a thumbs-up, too.

I did early voting, and have already cast my ballot: “For Donald Trump” or “AGAINST HILLARY CLINTON,” however you want to read it, though the way I wrote it pretty much shows how I felt about it. The rest of my ballot, in local municipal and county races, was pretty much split between Democrats and Republicans, as it usually is.  I go with the individual and their stance, not their party.

As “October surprises” flowed into November, they’ve hit the Clinton machine pretty hard, though they don’t seem to have hit the mainstream media so much, giving credence to the growing public perception that the media is in Hillary’s pocket.  Sad thing to watch.

There’s still time to do what the lady in the post office and the gentleman on the corner (and me, here) are doing: SPREAD THE WORD TO THE VOTERS!

Feel free, while there’s time, to share this from Ann Coulter. Love her or hate her, Ms. Coulter has largely nailed the matter here.

  1. AND today…. the news mentioned that Hilary’s maid was making copies of “Classified’ emails.
Hubby and I are veterans….we would have never dreamed of “DOING” something like that!!!!!!!!

  2. As a Marx Brothers fan, every time I hear Bill or Hillary talk about their latest bit of trouble (ever notice that “preponderance of evidence” never applies to Democrats? I digress) I can’t help thinking of Chico: “Who you gonna believe? Me, or your own eyes?”

I have decided to re-join the NRA and purchase a new handgun (and more ammo!) so that when the stats roll out about how “dangerous” the right is as shown by the uptick in NRA members and gun buyers I can be part of that action.

For the record, if we can’t get what is best for the country this coming Tuesday I am hoping for what would be the funniest: Trump winning the popular vote and Clinton winning the Electoral. Think of the drinking games and fun when we have to sit through Huckleberry Hound, I mean Al Gore, droning on about the sanctity of the Electoral College and how the popular voting does not decide American elections!

  3. Mas, I also voted early and am encouraged by the vision of yard signs for Trump outnumbering those for Hillary by a very large margin. I am a bit disappointed by our FBI leadership although I understand what he is up against. Having spent close to 30 years in IT, I am concerned that the voting system is far too easily manipulated by even the most neophyte hacker.
The next few days will be akin to the train wreak one can’t help watching.

  4. Thanks for the comments and Ann Coulter’s also. It boggles my mind to see how many people are so ignorant and so many that buy into the evil of the likes of Obama and Hillary. Sad and depressing.

  5. Can ANYONE please cite evidence that Trump has given ANY tangible support for the Second Amendment? Donations to pro-2A groups, support of SAF lawsuits, funding training, opposition to ANY NYS & NYC gun laws or anti-gun pols?

Because the only reason a lot of people can offer, to justify voting for a life-long gun-control supporter, is: “He’ll protect the Second Amendment!”

When he has a long record of supporting Clintonist gun control.

    The cognitive dissonance is astonishing.

  6. Mr. Ries, the man has publicly stated his support for gun owners, current opposition to “assault rifle bans” and full capacity magazine bans after seeing them fail to work, and support for national concealed carry. His opponent has expressed her desire to ban semiautomatic firearms and full capacity magazines, and her disagreement with a Supreme Court decision determining that the Second Amendment is indeed an individual right. Need more?

  7. Robert Ries,

I remember in the spring Trump was giving a speech, and he publicly declared that he carries a gun. He also said both of his sons were members of the NRA and they do a lot of shooting.

    Roger in NC,

Thanks for confirming my fears about electronic voting. I am low-tech, so I can’t talk authoritatively about computers.

I wish state governors would stand up and say, “There will be no cheating in my state.” Then they could get rid of all computer voting machines, and have police officers check every voter’s government-issued, photo ID before they vote. Maybe that kind of thing would catch on in other states. I don’t understand why the states don’t get backbones and stand up against the Feds. We would all cheer and support them if they did. The Feds, being weak, would back down.

Are the states afraid of losing federal money? They just contact the frackers, and start pumping oil. That should make up for any lost federal funds. Power is being concentrated in one place (DC) and that is a bad thing. Looks like, in the long run, the anti-federalists were right.

  8. Should the Donald win, I plan to get a “Who’s deplorable now?” tee-shirt to bookend my current deplorable shirt. That said, decades ago I got a comprehensive education on what’s now referred to as “the ground game” in metropolitan area politics. Organized, systemic vote suppression, election fraud and transporting voters about aren’t urban myths. Neither is the graveyard vote.

  9. The FBI director is a smart dude. Realizing that he didn’t get as much bribe money as he deserved the first time back in July, he reopened the closed investigation into HillBilly’s traitorous actions a few days before the election, which forced the potential Crook in Chief and her cronies to come up with a lot more cash to buy his assistance. However, if HillBilly wins, that blackmailing FBI director becomes a loose end and we know how the Clintons handles them.

Remember Vince Foster, Ron Brown, and the many other Clinton ‘close friends’ who met untimely demises under mysterious circumstances?

I will be heading to my polling place tomorrow to vote and will wear my Second Chance vest since I’ll be leaving my Springfield 1911 and backups in the car so as not to break any laws. I will also have on my running shoes just in case something bad happens, other than HillBilly winning.

  10. Writing this on the night before the election. Finding most of my other favorite Web sites going consistently out of commission tonight as more Wikileaks come out. Kind of suspicious, aye? Let me make two predictions: (1) Donald Trump will win, and (2) Hillary Clinton (shudder!) will win. Now I can say that I correctly predicted the winner at least once. This is how some people try to establish a clairvoyant identity. They just ignore the truth.

The real truth is that if draconian, anti-gun Hillary succeeds in stealing the election, a recount using paper ballots must be ordained. Public affairs may otherwise see too much breach of peace, which may have been the goal of certain politicians all along. BHO’s presidency must end at its fixed termination date at the latest, no matter what. Unbelievable that he hasn’t been impeached already. His promotion of illegal-alien and pardoned-criminal voters is dangerously beyond the pale. Still time on November 8 to vote for Trump, no matter who you are.

  11. Mr. Ayoob, he made statements to that effect only just in time to run for President, and has no history or record of actually doing anything tangible.

Why should I believe him? Why should YOU?

  12. Mr. Ries, I think TXCOMT has answered you well in the post immediately above your own most recent.

This election has always been about the lesser of two evils. Gun owners who wish to preserve their rights have no realistic choice but Trump.

  13. Every election cycle we see numerous reports of electronic voting machines changing a vote for a Republican to a vote for the Democrat. This happens numerous times, normally in heavily Democrat precincts.

Help my memory. I can’t recall even one instance where these “mis-calibrated” voting machines were ever reported to be changing votes for a Democrat to a vote for the Republican on the ticket.

    This is a real head-scratcher.

  14. One should also pay attention to the repeated statements of Ms Clinton that certain legal opinions supporting our civil rights “are just wrong”.

I’ll also note that her party has been in the interesting position of suing to support the voting rights of the dead in Ohio and a couple of other states. They lost in Ohio and proceedings delayed beyond the election in at least one other.

  15. Dennis:

What you wrote reminded me of what I heard a talk radio host say last night. I was probably listening to Mark Levin. He said, “Do you think Democrats would be for illegal immigration if the aliens were coming in and voting Republican?” “Do you think they would want to build a wall then?”

  16. Well, I did it. I stayed up until the election was called. Looks like Trump has won. Let me put forward a thought on what has just occurred.

Many folks have spoke of a need for a viable third party. We may have just witnessed the beginning of that reality. I believe we can all agree that Trump is really not a Republican, at least in the accepted mold. It looks as if he will also have a Republican majority in both the House and Senate. I predict that many RINO’s will side with Democrats against any Trump initiatives. This could very well result in a division of Republicans into a new populist party with A Trump-like leader. The first sign of this would be a party split on Paul Ryan for continuing as Speaker of the House.

    This rebellion is not over.

  17. Clinton just conceded, and I couldn’t be happier about being wrong about Trumps chances, but I also couldn’t be sadder about what it says about our country that this maniac is the best we could do.

Thank God the Supreme Court won’t go to the liberals.

God help us to survive this President.

  18. Poor Hillary Clinton!

All that scheming! All that effort!

The insertion of her people into the DNC. The lining up of the Super Delegates. The stacking of the deck against Bernie so that she would have the Democratic Nomination in her pocket.

The clever use of the MainStream Media (MSM) to help secure Donald Trump the Republican Nomination because she thought that he was the weakest republican in the field. (Lesson to be learned here: It is never wise to elevate your opponent even if you think it is only setting him up for a greater fall later.)

All the attack ads. All the dirty tricks. The October Surprise attack with all the charges of sexual misconduct against Trump.

All for naught! Poor Hillary just can’t catch a break!

The reaction of the leftist MSM was also priceless!

Revenge of the Hicks and the Rubes! That was the line that NPR was taking this morning. They had an interview with a liberal writer from Appalachia to help explain it to them.

On CNN, all the talking heads were wringing their hands and wondering how they were going to restraint Trump. I guess that their arrogance is impervious even to this stinging slap!

The real story, however, is that Hillary Clinton LOST! She will not be launching unrestricted warfare on the gun owners of America. She will not carry through on her threat to make the NRA the #1 enemy of her administration. She will not be packing the SCOTUS with anti-gun justices!

    There is a GOD!

  19. Uncle Mas,

Some of us knew from the beginning that only TRUMP could defeat Crooked Hillary. The LORD stands with the FAITHFUL. Appreciate you joining in the contest with several articles, but others are relieved this blog can return to the substantial topic of 45 v. 9mm… BUWAHAHAHAH!

“In the beginning, a few brave men enter the arena unaided, disbelieved and derided, but when their cause succeeds, the timid join in because it costs them nothing.”

  20. I would liked to have been at the Jarvis Center last night handing out box cutters. Those drunk and stoned liberals would have vented their raging anger and teeth gnashing frustrations by carving up each other or committing Hari Kari.
