You have doubtless heard by now of the court battle which appears to clear the way to easier legal ownership of short-barreled rifles, short-barrel shotguns, and some other hardware that for so long was severely regulated by the National Firearms Act of the 1930s.
Overall, it is a tremendous moral victory for gun owners’ civil rights. I’ proud to say that one of the plaintiffs in that successful legal action is CCRKBA, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, a sister organization to one which I currently serve as president, the Second Amendment Foundation. As of now, the situation appears to technically legalize only members of those multiple plaintiff organizations including those who sign up after the fact: you can join CCRKBA at https://secure.anedot.com/ccrkba/join.
