You have doubtless heard by now of the court battle which appears to clear the way to easier legal ownership of short-barreled rifles, short-barrel shotguns, and some other hardware that for so long was severely regulated by the National Firearms Act of the 1930s.
Overall, it is a tremendous moral victory for gun owners’ civil rights. I’ proud to say that one of the plaintiffs in that successful legal action is CCRKBA, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, a sister organization to one which I currently serve as president, the Second Amendment Foundation. Thanks to the far-right, and Christian lunacy that gave us Trump, it’s almost a guarantee that ultra far-left Democrats (socialists and communists) are going to sweep all three branches of government, and we will see an end to firearms in the US. We’ve already seen the backdoor, underhanded attacks on the second amendment thanks to the shortsighted Bruen ruling. Once socialist Democrats take power in November, we will see complete dissolution of the entire second amendment via legislation, destruction of the Supreme Court, and even possibly a rewrite of the constitution.
Why can’t I shake the feeling that Trump and the rest of his far-right, crazy infiltrators were a plant to insure the destruction of the Republican party, and the destruction of our freedom, economic strength and military might? I’m so happy that we avoided the mess that Hillary, Biden and Harris would have brought, but Trump was a horrible choice. It’s like being given a choice between eating dog poop or cat poop for lunch. Joining CCRKBA AND The Second Amendment Foundation (CCRKBA’S sister group) is a great idea.
In the case where only those of plaintiff’s org are positively benefitted, it is much more than likely either CCRKBA or SAF will be involved.
I received an email from SAF (I’m a Life Member) asking support in the amount of what you would have forked over for a tax stamp and they would apply $25 of that to enroll you in the CCRKBA.
