It’s the Fourth of July Weekend, and this particular Independence Day falls in the middle of our nation’s 250th anniversary.  All the more reason to celebrate.

Freedom is the USA’s hallmark. Gun owners’ rights are a bellwether of that freedom, and of late we firearms folk have much to be thankful for.

Be careful with the fireworks.  Celebratory gunfire does not go skyward unless you’re shooting birdshot on a clay target range. Personally, I’ll mark the day on my steel target range. The “bang-ting” of bullets hitting steel seem like a good way to truly “let freedom ring.”

  1. Getting ready for a small town 4th. Ice cream, baseball, frog jumping, concerts, parade, fireworks… No flag burning commies expected or tolerated around here.

  2. We celebrated today with a 7 stage Galactic Pistol Alliance match.
I finished with only 7 points down, and rang the 10″ plate 3 times in rapid succession from around 12 yards out. Freedom rang in similar manor about 70 times today! Happy Independence Day to all 🇺🇸

  3. Sounds like gang bangers were having a shootout here last night.
But, what can you expect from a city roomered to be famous for recipes for preparing dogs and cats. I am in the geezer category now, so I have seen about everything, and hopefully this will pass too.
Had every kind of job from chicken crap shovler to weiner peeler in a meat packing plant. Needless to say I didn’t tell my high school buddies where I went after school hours.
I would still rather live here in the good ole USA than any where else.
