The left lies repeatedly when it comes to firearms. Does the public know that 10x+ times more blacks are killed by other blacks than by cops? Does the public know that 10x+ more people are saved from harm by guns that are harmed by guns? (Thank you Mr. Lott) 10x+ more of the public do not know that.

Fact check this: the number one source causing the loss of freedoms of US citizens is the same government that is supposed to be protecting them.

In answer to the question: “If your cause is just, why do you lie about it?”:
“Today, we are seeing that there are people and politicians who have zero respect for the rights of some groups (i.e., gun owners), while turning a blind eye to, or even encouraging and coddling the violent and criminal nature of others (looters, arsonists, rioters, etc.). The abject hypocrisy which gun-rights activists openly practice, is unparalleled, and unapologetic. Anti-gun zealots want what they want, and fairness be damned. Such people are totally self-centered and selfish, like children who have to be scolded for not playing well with others. What they really need, is an object lesson taught to them, in order to get them to understand what it means to have their rights taken away by government force.
I’ve always thought a great lesson for the anti-gun zealots to experience would be for the government to violate their 3rd Amendment right by forcing them to quarter military troops in their home. To understand the dark, one must be exposed to the light. To understand about lies, one must be exposed to the truth.
It all goes back to what I said in a previous blog post. The firearms-prohibitionists are a branch of left-wing ideology. All leftists have one, universal, characteristic. They divorce themselves from reality. They reject reality in favor of a fantasy world which conforms to the rules of their ideology. Leftists seemingly find the “Real World” too hard of a place in which to live. Many people are like that. Some people, with this problem, respond by retreating into drugs or alcohol. Leftists retreat into fantasy.
So, they flee the “Real World” in favor of a fantasy “Safe Space”. They are comfortable in their fantasy safe space. It is where they want to live.
Just like fans of the “X-Files: I want to believe” movie actually wish to suspend reality, at least for a while (so as to believe in alien abductions), Leftists “want to believe” (and live) in their left-wing ideological safe space.
Don’t you see that the rejection of reality must, inevitably, also lead to a rejection of all “Truth”. Truth, by its nature, must be based in reality. If one rejects reality, then the very concept of truth becomes meaningless.
We, routinely, accuse the Firearms-Prohibitionists of “lying”. We spend huge amounts of time and effort pointing out their lies. Do you expect this to do any good? What use is it to point out the falsehoods of people who don’t even believe in the concept that there is “Truth”. What is the purpose of pointing out facts in the “Real World” to people who reject that world in favor of their fantasy safe space?
Leftists reject God in favor of placing humanity (and themselves) in the position of the supreme being. What is one of the most powerful features of God? It is the ability to create and shape the World to his vision. God can create and order the World. By rejecting God and promoting themselves into “Godhood”, leftists (who are also marked by narcissism and egotism) start to believe that they can assume God’s Power to “Shape the World” to fit their desires. Shape it to fit their ideology.
Therefore, to a true leftists (including the firearms-prohibitionist variant), the “Truth” is whatever they say it is. In their minds, if they can use propaganda and indoctrination to force the minds of the People to accept their left-wing fantasy world, then they are shaping reality to fit their plan. They are remolding the World to fit their ideology. They are God!
Don’t you see how useless it is to try to compromise with these people? How useless it is to try to persuade them to “see the truth”?
To lose touch with reality is to go insane. We are dealing with a form of mental illness here. All these leftists need to be removed from power and then treated for their mental illness. Certainly, we should not allow these folks to continue in power.
Right now, the inmates are, truly, running the asylum. Which is why everything is so FUBAR.
