  2. Hope yours was as great as mine. Was able to join my sister and her kids for dinner. But before that, I participated in a Thanksgiving meal for the singles and homeless in our neighborhood. They were going to throw away the ham and turkey bones. I now have 3 pints of ham bits in broth and 10 pints of turkey broth in my freezer. My girlfriend has 3 ham bones for her dogs, and I still have to salvage the turkey bits and boil down the bones again.

    • That’s the way to go! Meals from “garbage”. Ha ha. I do it all the time and then, later, we really enjoy the bounty.

  5. Hope you and Will had a blessed Thanksgiving. Three of our kids and their children and the wife and I all took our campers and went to the beach in Destin for the week. We did our Thanksgiving meal outdoors with smoked turkey and all the trimmings. Not totally “socially distanced” but mostly spent outdoors in sun and salt air. Thanks for all you and Will do for us.

  12. I am thankful for knowing with certainty that people like yall, and the readers/students who have relied on and learned from you for years, are still the very foundation of America. The north, south, east and west of the good ole USA is still united by us. This year has been a trial of our faith and skills, and with God’s help and yours too, we are going to beat it. Stay true to what you know is right, keep your focus upward to our Lord, keep learning and moving, preparing for whatever lies ahead, and above all give thanks. My prayers for your health and happiness, Jackie and Will. Happy Thanksgiving day to all!!

  13. How do we order seeds from you. Interested in your squash seeds. We live in the high desert of AZ. So I remember you use to live in New Mexico so thought you would know which seeds work the best. We do have 3 green houses. My daughter in law owns this place with large gardens and green houses but we are concerned about getting seeds for some things this next year. We did save some of our the seeds this year. Do you have a catalog of seeds we can look at?
