Love this book. Amazing story.
Jackie’s story of consistently overcoming hardships is very inspiring. She tells it like it is, and explains why they did things the way they did. There are stories of reusing and rearranging to make things work. The coming together of neighbors is heartwarming. The loss she suffers brought tears to my eyes but in the end her and her family’s resilience will make you want to go outside and get things done despite your own situation. The book is a great testament of the power to overcome many obstacles of life. You’ll also find many original pictures scattered through the book to bring you even closer.
