Plantation Coffee Punch

1/3 cup instant coffee dissolved in 1/2 cup boiling water
5 cups milk
1 cup whipping cream, whipped

2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla


Mix the dissolved instant coffee with the sugar, vanilla and milk. Refrigerate up to a day in advance.

Before serving, chill punch bowl with crushed ice. when cold, empty and dry thouroughly.

Pour in coffee mixture. Spoon in chunkc of ice cream. Add blobs of whipped cream.

Yield — 2 quarts (about 15 punch cup servings)
