To make up for my woeful lack of recent posts, I give you a cute baby picture. I really have been doing crafty things, I just never seem to have the camera handy. I finally got around to washing my very dirty fleece from "Cotton" the sheep. It took several days to dry (I didn’t spread it out enough) and now I’m carding it by hand, and spinning it on my Louet S90. I’ve been trying to spin a fuzzier, softer yarn. I tend to overtwist, I think. I’m also nearly finished with the finishing work on a sweater Mom bought at a thrift store. It was nearly finished. I sewed up the hems, added a double collar, and sewed one underarm seam with mattress stitch. I just need to sew the other arm seam, weave in the ends, and block it.
