Overwhelmed
Maybe I should say it again. So. Much. Stuff.
I’ll be honest. I’m getting a little nervous watching these piles of supplies tottering around the edges (and let’s face it, all over the middle, too) of this room. It’s starting to feel like maybe… maybe I have a problem. I listed a few more things today on ebay, but in the end I may just start giving this stuff away to my local thrift stores. I say storeSSSS because I’m not sure the volunteers would appreciate me showing up with my truck bed FULL of bags and boxes of books, patterns, fabric, yarn, clothes, linens, and other foolishness.
Ack! I’m drowning in clutter!

You just hauled yourself and your family across the country, not to mention everything else you’ve dealt with and accomplished this year so far. Feeling overwhelmed is very natural-moving is the absolute worse thing you can do to yourself. Take a break-close the door to that craft room (now that you have one!), reassess tomorrow, or god forbid, the next day! Pat yourself on the back for what you’ve got done so far. I for one am impressed.
Good luck in your new digs!

Oh, I am so glad that you ebayed some of your overflow. I won the baby bedding material auction. My mom, before she died from cancer, made my #3 daughter baby blankets from that material. I bought yours for her because she is wearing out her special blankets. She is so excited. You never know when something you don’t need anymore will be a treasure to someone else.
good luck sorting and thinking of all of the projects you can create.

Jodie, I’m so glad you got that fabric! Thank you for sharing your story with me. I hope you’ll share pictures when you’ve finished repairing or remaking those special blankets.
