etc. - a little of this, a little of that - by Oliver Del Signore

Leave a comment, and you could win a Backwoods Home Book or Anthology. A winner drawn each week! Click Here for details.

Comment Contest

Would you like a weekly chance to win a Backwoods Home book or Anthology?

All you have to do is share your thoughts in a comment on any recent blog post.

Every Monday, we will randomly select a winner from all the comments left from Sunday to Saturday of the previous week.

Here’s the fine print:

Only comments posted to the etc. blog are eligible for the weekly drawing.

Contest limited to residents of the United States and Canada  and overseas citizens with APO/FPO mailing addresses.

Comments must be thoughtful and relevant to the post. Short comments like, “I agree,” “Me, too,” “You said it, man,” “You’re a moron,” etc. will not qualify. Feel free to call the blogger a moron and to disagree but be prepared to explain why in language fit for a family website.

You may comment on a blog post or on another person’s comment about a post.

We will contact the winner at the email address included with the post and the winner will have 48 hours to reply. The reply must include the winner’s full name and mailing address, including Zip/Postal code and the title of the book or anthology the winner wants as his/her prize.

If the winner fails to reply or the email is returned as undeliverable for any reason, we will choose an alternate winner who will have 48 hours to reply. If that person fails to reply or the email is returned as undeliverable for any reason, no winner will be selected for that week.

Backwoods Home Magazine and the blogger are the sole judges of whether or not a post is thoughtful and relevant.
