Two skeins of yarn and a swatch of "bramble stitch." To work bramble stitch (also known as trinity stitch, apparently): Row 1 and 3: Purl across. Row 2: *Purl 3 together, Knit 1 Purl 1 Knit 1 in same stitch. Repeat from * across. Row 4: *Knit 1 Purl 1 Knit 1 in same stitch, Purl 3 together. Repeat from * across. Repeat these four rows.

The unfinished sweater from the thrift store. I’ve sewn up the hems, put on a folded collar, and sewn one sleeve seam. (Closeup of the collar and lace detail.)
It is low hip length. I think it needs antler buttons.
