“I am TJIC”

Borepatch contributes this fine graphic to the cause of Travis Corcoran, the victim of Massachusetts hysteria who lost his first and second amendment rights this week:

Turns out Corcoran’s blog is the fairly well-known “Dispatches from TJICistan” (now taken down by its owner — temporarily, we can hope).

Here’s Borepatch’s eloquent take on the case. The graphic is for the use of anyone who’d like to support Corcoran.

And if anybody here doesn’t understand its meaning, or would just like to see one of the all-time great movie scenes (Borepatch also has the clip, but it bears endless repeating):

(Tip o’ hat to Joel.)

Not only his 1st and 2nd Amendment rights, but his 4th Amendment rights appear to have been violated also.
I posted about this in my blog entry http://thebuckeyecopperhead.blogspot.com/2011/01/1st-amendment-2nd-amendment-4th.html
And maybe his 5th too. I didn’t even think about that.

  2. TJIC Says:

    Thank you for your support!

  3. Kent McManigal Says:

He didn’t lose any rights, the thugs of the State simply decided to violate those rights. He has thus lost his liberty.

  4. Claire Says:

Kent — Well put. You’re right, of course.

  5. Claire Says:

    TJIC,

I’m sorry you’re in a position to need support. I hope your blog is back online soon and that the attention you really didn’t want will help pressure the cops into giving your guns back.

    Claire

  6. Kevin3% Says:

What Kent said is essential to understand.

They can not take away our rights. They can only take our liberty or our lives and in the event of the latter, new fighters will rise up because liberty lives in the hearts and minds of men and women.

  7. Jim B. Says:

    Speaking of fighting for rights.
