Final swatches are done

Saturday, May 27th, 2006

I finished knitting my last swatch for the Master Hand Knitter Level One course today. I have them all pinned out to dry now, and once they’re blocked I’ll weave in the ends. You can see all of the posts and pictures relating to the Master Knitter program by clicking TKGA - Master Knitter Level One to the right side of the page under Categories.

Secret Squirell

Friday, May 26th, 2006

I can’t actually tell you what this is, but it’s just too wonderful to squirell away all the prettiness.

OooH! Ahh!

Look at my beautiful new stitch markers! I bought them from Jackie at J.L. Yarnworks.

Enough with the practicing

Thursday, May 25th, 2006

My yarn arrived from Knit Picks last week. I went with worsted weight "Wool of the Andes" in daffodil yellow. The shipping was very inexpensive, less than $2 for five skeins of yarn. I like that. The yarn is very nice quality. I’ve been getting the Knit Picks catalog for a while, and this was my first order. I’m impressed. I’ll definately order from them again.

Here are my materials to complete level one: yarn, needles (Takumi bamboo, US size 7), cable needle, and ruler.
