Remember, remember
Monday, November 5th, 2012On this day before yet another dismal, overhyped, mediocrity-promoting, statist-embracing, distinction-without-a-difference election … Happy V for Vendetta Day.
I know what I’m watching tonight, how ’bout you?

Gary Johnson 2012 to end the tyranny!

I live near college housing, and over the last few years, Guy Fawkes Day has been celebrated here and there(cookouts, no doubt some beer chugging, people in the V-for-Vendetta costume)-the U.S. version seems to be a blend of V-for-Vendetta and the British holiday..mostly cookouts, with the random bonfire.

Already voted for Gary.
I think AMC should do a marathon of ‘The Walking Dead’ for election day. That would be the most fitting thing to watch. The current crop of Republicans are really dismaying. They like to drop a few Libertarian terms but just love the state.

If you vote, you have no right to complain.
People like to twist that around, but where’s the logic in that?
If you vote, and you elect dishonest and incompetent people, you’re responsible.

I’ll probably watch it today. Remember the Sixth of November, too.

Yes, I’ll be watching it tonight. Happy V day, Claire!

I’ll compromise by re-reading the graphic novel that you’re less than enthused about. I need to be working on “Claire’s Guide To Who’s Whom In V For Vendetta” anyway.

I won’t be watching anything tonight, I don’t think. Might go to the library to pick up a hold. Might get started reading another electronics book, and I have a couple phone calls to make.
Not too exciting. :)

Oh wow. I hadn’t even noticed the date–if my wife will go for it, the show will begin in 30 minutes or so.

I watched it again. Always get something more out of it.
